Modify the Username Change Default Report Dates |
From the Preferences page the user can add or modify the email address associated with their account and change their username and password
In the mobile version of Cyber High the tabs are located
in the upper right corner of the screen.
If you wish to have system messages sent to you via email, select the Notification tab, enter an email address in the Email field and choose the Email option from the Message Method drop down and click on Save Notification Preferences. If this option is selected messages will be sent to your email account and the Messages menu tab within Cyber High. |
The Preferences page is located in the Main menu tab and can be accessed by clicking on Preferences.
Modify the way you receive messages:
Select the Notifications
tab on the Preferences page.
Do one of the following:
To add or remove your email address, enter or
remove your email address from the Email
field.
To have messages sent to your email account and
through Cyber High Messages,
ensure that you have entered a valid email address in the
Email field and select
Email + Cyber High Messages from
the Message Method drop
down.
To receive messages through the Cyber High Message system only, select
the Cyber High Messages option
from the Message Method drop
down.
Click on the Save
Notification Preferences button.
A confirmation message will appear.

To change the Username:
Select the Password
tab on the Preferences
page.
Enter a Username
in the Username field. The
Username must contain 6 to
16 characters.
Enter the current password in the Current
Password field.
Click on the Save
Password Preferences button.
A confirmation message will appear.

To change the Password:
Select the Password
tab on the Preferences page.
Enter the current password in the Current
Password field.
Enter a new Password
in the New Password field.
The Password must contain 6 to 16 16 characters and cannot
contain spaces. Re-enter the password to guard against possible
errors.
Use the Password strength indicator to maintain the
security of the account. For the strongest password use a combination
of letters, numbers and special characters. For instance, *u_998ema
is a strong password
Click on the Save
Password Preferences button.
A confirmation message will appear.

To change the default dates used when viewing reports:
Select the Reports
tab on the Preferences page.
Enter the appropriate dates in the Start
Date and End Date fields
or use the calendar.
The Reset To System
Defaults option will change the date range to the current day.
Click on the Save
Report Preferences button.
A confirmation message will appear.

Students will be directed to choose a security question
and enter the appropriate response when logging in to Cyber High for the
first time. This information must be entered to gain access to the
features within Cyber High. This information can be used to retrieve
a forgotten password.
To change the Password Recovery question or answer:
Select the Password
tab on the Preferences
page.
Select the desired question from the Security
Question drop down.
Enter the correct answer to the question in the Security Answer field.
Click on the Save
Password Preferences button.
A confirmation message will appear.
