The messages page is available to all users and others that the News page is the main source of communication used by the Cyber High PASS Program.

  1. Users are alerted to new messages via the  Message Indicator NewMail.gif displayed next to the user's Name in the Cyber high Toolbar.

  2. Messages can be sent to users through the Messages page in Cyber High and to the user's email address.  View help on the Preferences page to find out how.

  3. Messages are never deleted.  Instead, messages are archived FileCabinet.png so that users can always view old items.

  4. Users can select multiple messages for archiving by clicking on the check box next to each message

 

 

The Messages page is located in the Main Menu Tab and can be accessed by clicking on Messages.

 

View Messages

To view messages:
 

  1. Click on Messages located in the Main Menu Tab

    Mobile.png In the mobile version of Cyber High messages are organized by folders.
     

  2. All messages will display here.  Messages in bold are unread.  The Messages page is sorted by date with the newest messages on top.  In some cases, Messages are divided into topic categories.  To view topic-specific messages, click on the appropriate category under Messages.  For example, teachers will see a Quit Exams category that will only display messages created when a student quits an exam.

Deleting / Arching Messages

Messages in Cyber High are not deleted.  This allows users to view items previously removed from the Messages page.

 

To Archive messages:

 

Click on the Archive FileCabinet.png icon to the right of the message.
 

Mobile.png In the mobile version of Cyber High the Archive option is located in the top right corner of the screen.

 

Once the message has been archived, it will no longer appear in the messages list.

View Archived Messages

To view Archived messages:

 

Place a check in the Show Archived Messages located at the top of the messages page.  Archived messages are distinguished by the archive FileCabinet.png icon shown to the left of the message.

 

Mobile.png In the mobile version of Cyber High, select the Archived folder.
