The Exam page will be blank if there are no exam approvals.

  1. Students can attempt each unit exam a maximum of two times.

  2. Students cannot retake a passed exam to receive a higher grade

  3. If the student chooses to Quit an exam, it IS counted as an attempt against the student's two attempt limit.

  4. If an exam is interrupted for any reason (computer malfunction, the student logs off the computer or network connectivity issues), the student will have the ability to resume the exam upon their next login.  

  5. Once a student begins an exam, the student cannot perform any other function in Cyber High.

 

Teachers must approve students to take an exam.  

 

To begin taking an exam:

 

  1. Click on the Exams link located in the Main menu tab.
     

  2. Select the appropriate exam from the list of available exams.  The exam displays the following information:

    1. Course type, Cyber High or Workbook;
       

    2. The Course Name and the Unit Number;
       

    3. Information about Calculator Usage calculatorSmall.png; and
       

    4. Previous exam attempts, if applicable.
       

  3. The attempt must be confirmed.
     i_red_sm.jpg Please ensure that the teacher has approved the correct course, course type, and unit number before continuing to the exam.  Once the exam is started it is counted as an attempt regardless of the outcome.
     

  4. Place a check next to the correct answer to each question.  
     

  5. Use the Next and Back buttons to navigate through the exam.  Each exam contains 50 questions.  All questions must be answered before the exam can be submitted as complete.
     

  6. At the end of the exam, use the All Previous button to review answered questions or to answer any questions that were skipped or missed during the exam.

  7. When complete, click on the Finish button.  
     

  8. Upon completion, a message is sent to the student and teacher's Message Inbox with the results of the exam.  Students are taken to their Inbox to view their score immediately.
